Rah has dedicated the past 13 years to the field of indigenous spirituality, drawing on her diverse heritage of Bushmen, Indian, Indonesian, Irish, and Malay ancestry to bridge cultural and ancestral wisdoms. As the founder of Divine Lotus, she is deeply committed to advancing women’s sexual health and well-being through spiritual practices and traditional healing.
Learning from Ancestral Elders
Rah’s spiritual journey has been guided by esteemed elders from various indigenous traditions, including Native American Elder John Twobirds, African Priest Sanusi Credo Mutwa, his wife Virginia, and Kalahari Bushman Oom Jan Org. Through their mentorship, she has developed a profound connection to ancestral knowledge, enriching her work with ancient practices.
Healing Practices and Ceremonies
Rah offers a variety of sacred services, including yoni steam healing, womb awakening workshops, water ceremonies, and rituals. She trained in the Womb Mysteries with the Fountain of Life, studied Mizan abdominal massage with Bushra Finch, and completed her Family Constellations training in South Africa. Initiated as a Water Medicine Woman by Zimbabwean Elder Peacemaker Mandaza Kandemwa, Rah now revives and shares the almost-lost water healing practices of her lineages.
Divine Lotus Cushion and Education
Rah is also the creator of the Divine Lotus Cushion, an educational tool designed to help young girls and women understand and honor their bodies. As an advocate, she self-published her book Cutting My Flower in 2009 to raise awareness about female genital cutting, empowering women to embrace their health and heritage.
