Nazli El Leithy – Special Education Early Interventionist & Educational Assessor
Biography
Nazli is a passionate Special Education Specialist dedicated to supporting children aged 4–12 years with developmental disabilities and learning difficulties. She holds a Master’s degree in Special & Inclusive Education from University College London and is a Registered Test User in Educational Testing with the British Psychological Society. Nazli’s journey into special education began with a deep desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential.
In addition to her professional qualifications, Nazli is the founder of “A Different Story by Nazli,” an online platform that promotes disability awareness and works to shift societal perceptions of ‘difference’ from stigma-based language to acceptance. She is also the co-founder of Kollena, alongside Malak El Batran, a website designed to connect parents with professionals, centers, schools, and institutions offering services for individuals with special needs and disabilities.
Career and Expertise
Nazli currently works at Behman Therapy Centre and PBS, where she supports children with a range of developmental disabilities and learning difficulties. Her expertise lies in literacy development, language acquisition, and writing support. She is also certified as a DIRFloortime Basic Provider by the Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning (ICDL) and holds an Advanced Certificate in Executive Function Skills Development from PESI.
With a focus on creating tailored interventions, Nazli helps children develop the skills, strategies, and self-esteem needed to succeed in academic environments. Her work extends beyond one-on-one sessions, as she actively contributes to the broader special needs community through her advocacy and resource-sharing initiatives.
